How it works

Three steps.That’s it.

No extra hardware, nothing to install. Set up once, then just tap the circle.

  1. 01

    Tap to start

Tap the circle on your phone. On Android the app even opens the Wi-Fi for you.

  2. 02

    Scan to join

Phones and tablets join the Wi-Fi by scanning the QR. Laptops pick it from the Wi-Fi list.

  3. 03

    Set up once

One click on Mac, one file on Windows. Next time it just works when you join.

3D QR

One scan,you’re in.

A clean white card any camera reads. Touch it and it turns into a dark neon card that tilts with your finger as dots ripple out.

  • Wi-Fi includedThe Android app hotspot keeps the same name and password, so devices reconnect automatically.
  • AirDrop to MacAirDrop the link from your iPhone and the setup page opens in Safari.
  • No proxy typingNo addresses or ports to type. The setup file does it for you.
Touch or hover the card · scan it for real and this site opens

FAQ

Questions,answered.

Is it a VPN?

No. It’s a proxy running on your phone. Traffic isn’t sent to any other server or logged, and HTTPS stays encrypted end to end.

Does every app work?

Browsers and apps that follow the system proxy setting work right away. Some messengers and games ignore proxy settings and may not work.

What do I install on my laptop?

Nothing. On Mac open the setup file once; on Windows run the setup file once. After that it’s automatic.

Can I turn off my iPhone screen?

iOS 26+ shares in the background for the time you choose, but iOS may stop it earlier under heat or battery pressure. The no-lock dim screen is the most reliable.

What about my mobile plan?

HotspotOn doesn’t change your plan. Data use, speed and terms still follow your carrier plan — please use it within those terms.
